Bakersfield Police Activities League is about cops and kids.  Police officers and other community members volunteer their time as coaches, mentors, role models, and friends to children in our community.

Bakersfield Junior Police Academy (JPA)

The Bakersfield Junior Police Academy is a program conducted at the Bakersfield Police Activities League (BPAL), a local non-profit organization serving the Bakersfield and Kern County area since 1994. Each Cadet is required to become a member of the organization. This program and the BPAL membership is free to all who wish to participate.
Hours: 7:45AM – 12:00 PM Monday-Thursday for Juniors 11- 13 years old
Hours: 12:45AM – 5:00 PM Monday-Thursday for Seniors 14- 17 years old

2025 BPAL Soccer League

Register by March 14 for the 2025 BPAL Soccer League, ages U8, U10, U12 . Limited spots available. Season runs through April 7 - May 31.
